What are “cookies?

“Cookies” are small pieces of software that are stored on your computer via your browser, retaining only information relating to your preferences and therefore not including your personal data.

What are “cookies” used for?

“Cookies” help to determine the usefulness, interest and frequency of use of our websites, enabling faster and more efficient browsing by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.

What types of “cookies” are there?

There are two groups of “cookies” that may be used

– Permanent “Cookies” – these are “cookies” that are stored at the browser level on your devices (PC, mobile and tablet) and are used whenever you visit one of our websites again. They are generally used to tailor your browsing experience to your interests, enabling us to provide a more personalised service.

– “Session cookies” – these are temporary “cookies” that remain in your browser’s “cookies” file until you leave the website. The information obtained by these “cookies” is used for analysis traffic patterns on the web, enabling us to identify problems and provide a better browsing experience.

What do we use “cookies” for?

– Strictly necessary “cookies” – These enable you to browse the website and use its applications, as well as to access secure areas of the website. Without these “cookies”, the services you have requested cannot be provided.

– Analytical “cookies” – These are used anonymously to compile and analyse statistics, with a view to improving the functioning of the website.

– Functionality “cookies” – These store your preferences regarding the use of the website, so that you do not need to reconfigure the website each time you visit it.

– Third-party “cookies” – These measure the success of applications and the effectiveness of third-party advertising. They may also be used to personalise a widget with user data.

– Advertising cookies – These target advertising according to each user’s interests, so that advertising campaigns can be tailored to users’ preferences; they also limit the number of times you see an advert, helping to measure the effectiveness of the advertising and the success of the website.

How can you manage ‘cookies’?

All browsers allow users to accept, refuse or delete ‘cookies’, in particular by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser. You can configure “cookies” in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser.

Please note, however, that disabling “cookies” may prevent some web services from functioning correctly, affecting your browsing experience on the site, either partially or entirely.
